These watches were advertised fitted with the 18mm NSA 7 row strap shown, or a 18mm tropic strap.
From the very early 1970s, Roamer first started advertising the Dynatron powered watches in catalogs between 1970 and 1973, in this case a Roamer MST 916 (a ETA-ESA 9154 Dynotron) transistorised electric balance wheel. This watch along with the gold version are the most elusive of the electronic Roamers to find. Unlike the others of the series like the 606 and Searocks, they also do not appear in any catalogues that I have - and were therefore probably made for the shortest time span. That said, it is my favourite of the electronic range - with the stunning 2 colour dial and fun candy stripe hand in the fabulous Mustang case.
 
This watch arrived in a terrible state, and was subject to an full restoration - the watch retains an original Roamer signed crystal.
Service History:
13 Nov 2012 NOS dial, replacement hands, case refinished and grained, and a new Roamer crown fitted.
17 June 2012 Movement serviced.
