This watch was advertised on a black lizard band.
This is one of the first models using the MST 471. It carries over from the earlier MST 436/7 models, using the same patent waterproof case, dial and hands. The MST 471 was the successor to the 437, it is essentially the same movement - but with modifications to the rotor bearing assembly. It was supplied in all levels of finishing - from the lofty 44 jewel with rose gold plated rotor, through the 28 jewel version used in Mustangs, Vanguards and the like, down to the final 17 jewel plain rotor cut price version. It shares a number of features from the earlier 436 watches - the angled date window, the hands, the dial batons, the older style back. However, it sports the new style logo from 1966 - so can only have been from the early part of 1966. This one is marked as an Anfibiomatic, and is, as far as I am aware, the first AnfibioMatic.
