Cal. MST 229/242 Cal. MST 229

Remarks: First calibre in the family was the MST 202, which was also the first 10.5 ligne Roamer lever movement. The 202 was obsolete by 1933 - possibly due to the need to develope a centre second version and it was replaced in both forms by the MST 229 sometime after 1933. All three MST 229 movements examined so far have used the MST 242 front plate. This family shares the balance, lever, escape, mainsping and many other parts with the MST253 and 277. The larger 337 calibre shares all the same components with larger base plate and bridges.
