1927-30 Roamer 6 Jewel MST 264 Flieger

MST 264
Rolled and Chromium Plated.
Case Back:
2 piece screw front loader.
Water Resistance:
Recommended: 18mm lugs, probably sold on a tan pig skin strap.
A 1920s Flieger style watch, this behemoth is 42mm in diameter and is equiped with a 6 Jewel MST 264 movement. The case is a two part chromium plated case with the movement accessed via unscrewing the bezel. This model was also made under the brand of Teiga, photo 2, but fitted with another movement. Both models are rare, but the Tiega is rarer.
These do not comply with the 1928 pattern Flieger watches, as there is no rotating minute marker. Photo 4 shows a WW1 Gentleman's 3/0 Waltham in a Depoilier case.
This watch needed only a gentle restoration, including a service and re-lume of the dial.
Service History:
12/03/17 Movement fully serviced
